Askerne - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc - 2016
This wine was made from grapes grown on both the stony, sandy lower terrace of the vineyard and the heavier upper terrace. The grapes were soaked for 4 to 7 days then fermented for 5 to 6 days. The wine was then aged for 20 months in oak barrels, 35% new including some American and Hungarian oak.
