Zitua. - Rioja - Crianza
From the heart of Rioja Alta comes this exceptional red, built from a carefully selected blend of 95% Tempranillo, 3% Graciano and 2% Garnacha — the classic backbone of great traditional Rioja. The grapes are sourced from some of the estate's finest plots, and the winemaking reflects the same uncompromising attention to detail that defines everything Peciña produces.
The wine is aged for two full years in used American oak barrels, racked four times by hand during that period to develop complexity and refine the tannins. A further 18 months of bottle ageing follows before release. It is bottled un-fined and unfiltered, preserving every bit of character the fruit and oak have built together.
Deep cherry red in the glass, with intense aromas of ripe dark fruit, toasted wood and hints of vanilla. On the palate it's smooth, fruity and well-rounded, with a gentle spice and a long, elegant finish. A genuinely world-class Rioja.
