Chobeo De Peciña - Rioja Tinto
Picked from vines over 40 years old, they end up in the vats without the skin of the grapes broken and start fermenting for 15 days and a further 20 days of maceration. Once that's done, the wine is aged in new American oak barrels for 9 months, during that period, it is racked 3 times using only gravity to travel from cask to cask and then bottled straight after. This process gives a deep cherry coloured wine with purple hughes, intense aromas of toast and ripe fruit with a hint of spiciness, on the palate its medium bodied with polished tannins, a light toast taste, structured and persistent.
