A cherry red wine from the heart of the Rioja Alta. Intense aromas of ripe fruit, toasted wood with hints of vanilla. On the palate, you'll get a smooth, fruity taste along with a bit of spice, well balanced and rounded. They age this wine for 2 years in used American oak barrels, it is racked 4 times during that time, followed by an extra 18 months of ageing in the bottle. It is un-fined and unfiltered and completely delicious.
