Chobeo De Peciña - Rioja Blanco
Crafted from Viura grapes harvested from 50-year-old vines, this is a white Rioja made with a level of care and intention you rarely see. After harvest, the grapes are pressed and the juice fermented together with the skins in new American oak casks for a full month — stirred daily to build a wonderfully smooth, creamy texture.
Following fermentation, the wine rests a further two months in cask, gently integrating with the wood before bottling. The result is a pale golden wine with inviting aromas of toasted oak and sweet spice, lifted by fresh herbal notes. On the palate it's medium-bodied with a slightly sweet character, bright natural acidity and a long, satisfying finish.
